According to the product specialist

Pros
Continental Trail King II Performance MTB tyres offer high grip and stability on muddy surfaces thanks to their coarser tread pattern.
The open tread with its high side knobs ensures sufficient grip in curves and allows the tyres to cope with twisting courses without losing grip.
Suitable for fast cross-country courses from dry to wet conditions on sand and forest trails.
The open knob profile stays clean during the ride, maintaining optimum grip.
With the fast combination of the flexible and lightweight Super Race carcass, this tyre is aimed at pure speed.
Thanks to the Addix Speed compound, this MTB tyre has very low rolling resistance.
TLE (TubeLess Easy) technology makes the tyres easy to make tubeless with 90ml of latex sealant per tyre.
Great downhill tyre for varying conditions on dry and wet sand to forest surfaces.
The tall knobs on the sides of the tyre are reinforced, giving extra support and grip when cornering.
DoubleDown for a two-layer 120 tpi carcass with a butyl insert. This keeps the weight down for enduro, but offers the protection of a downhill tyre.
Triple compound MaxxGrip uses the softest rubber compounds for ultimate grip and shock absorption.
Tubeless Ready technology makes the tyres easy to tubeless with 90ml of latex sealant per tyre.
Thanks to the all-round knob pattern, these tyres are suitable for dry forest surfaces to the most muddy conditions.
The open knob profile stays clean during the ride, maintaining optimum grip.
The 3-layer carcass gives the tyre the necessary puncture resistance and durability.
The Blackchili compound makes the tyre smoother where it is needed for optimal rolling resistance.
Tubeless Ready technology makes the tyres easy to make tubeless with 90ml of latex sealant per tyre.
Cons
The Trail King is not the fastest tyre in the Continental range and is therefore less suitable for dry, hard courses.
While the Super Race carcass is the lightest and fastest, it offers little puncture protection compared to the Super Ground carcass.
Tubeless sealant should generally be topped up every 3-6 months.
As the Assegai 3C MaxxGrip DD TR tyres are specifically made for downhill racing, they are on the heavy side and may be slightly more difficult to mount than more flexible tyres.
Tubeless sealant should generally be topped up every 3-6 months.
Tubeless sealant should generally be topped up every 3-6 months.
