These brakes have better dosage than Shimano brakes.

The brakes are not compatible with I-Spec II or I-Spec EV shift levers.
The E4 mtb brakes have too much braking power for cross country use. The Hope X2 brakes would serve better.
These brakes fall just short for downhill use, the Hope Tech 4 V4 brakes go the last mile.
