According to the product specialist

Pros
The Back Roller is completely waterproof (IP64): Both the main compartment and the outer pocket keep out rain, road spray and dust.
The bag can hold loads up to 12.5 kg, enough for a hefty load of shopping or your work gear for the whole day.
The zipped, waterproof outer pocket allows you to quickly grab your keys, phone or wallet without having to open the roll-top closure.
With a volume of 20 litres, the Ortlieb Back Roller Urban pannier offers plenty of space for transporting groceries, office and school supplies.
This single pannier is very easy to attach to and remove from your luggage rack.
The included removable shoulder strap makes the bag multifunctional.
The Ortlieb Back Roller Urban is fully waterproof.
Ortlieb's 5 year warranty applies.

Cons
The pannier fits tubes measuring 8 to 16 mm as standard. If your luggage rack has 18 or 20 mm tubes, you will need separate 18 or 20 mm Ortlieb QL2.1 hooks, which are not included.
When closing the bag, a roll closure requires more effort than a zip or flap.
