From 1% to 27% more chain room on the cassette between the largest and smallest sprocket.
Works for up to 44 teeth in the front in combination with a rear cassette ranging from 10/11 teeth to 42/44 teeth in the rear.
Because the cassette is further under the cassette, it is less sensitive to mud.
