This helmet has been extensively tested and optimized in the wind tunnel. The result is a very well ventilated system due to the large air channels. Another added feature is the Goggle clip added to the POC Tectal Race.
Expanded Polystyrene is a strong and hard material with a great absorption capacity which offers very good protection in case of a possible impact.
Outer PC shell
Progressive Core shell combines two qualities: The stiff exterior of the helmet can easily absorb large impacts and the softer interior absorbs smaller impacts better. As a result, both layers work well together in the event of a possible fall.
Aramid bridges system
Aramid is a combined compound of polymers that can withstand a high tensile strength and therefore hold the helmet together in the event of a fall.
Adjustable visor
Adjustable visor to protect against low hanging branches and sunlight.
SPIN
The SPIN System is a special gel that is incorporated into the helmet pads (shearing pad inside the helmet). The gel ensures moving with your skull during crashes, the force transmitted to the brain is lowered..

High quality and very comfortable
The POC Tectal Race Spin fits very well but is slightly larger than the size suggests, luckily, the cradle tightens it down very nicely. The finish is brilliant, much better than my Bell and Giro helmets. I would buy another if this one was damaged.

Fits like a glove
Once I had figured out how to adjust the strap properly (you tube it) i am really impressed. It covers my bonce nicely with big air vents and is just comfortable. Would definitely recommend.

Top quality
This is a top quality helmet for trail riding awesome specs and safety features the best helmet I've worn the pice is quite expensive but you only get what you pay for but you can not put a price on your safety
