The Mavic Cosmic Elite UST Disc wheelset is a great upgrade for your disc brake equipped road bike. The Cosmic Elite uses 30 mm deep rims and feels stiff and sturdy. UST refers to the tubeless set-up which can reduce your chances of getting a puncture to almost zero when you add liquid latex to tubeless tyre. If you do manage to puncture the tyre then the liquid latex plugs the hole within seconds, allowing you to just keep on riding. Disc brakes are a great addition to the road bike since they offer you the same easy modulation and high stopping power under all conditions. Finally, there's no more wear to your rims which are a lot more expensive and troublesome to replace compared to disc brake rotors.
