Description
Industry bearings
These wheels are fitted with industrial bearings. The advantage is that they require almost no maintenance, but when worn down, the entire bearing needs to be replaced. More friction is created when riding at different angles compared to a cup cone bearings. Over time this can cause play and this cannot be adjusted.
Compatibility

Assembly
• Cassette remover Shimano or Campagnolo• (possibly a torque wrench)
Installing a cassette on a wheel is easy if you have the right tools. If you purchase a cassette remover with a Shimano fit, you will be able to mount either a Shimano or Sram cassette on your rear wheel. Please note! For a Campagnolo cassette you need the Campagnolo tool. If you have a Shimano 9/10-speed cassette, first slide the spacer over the body. Then you place the cassette on the body. This can only be done in one way because of the fit of the body. Finally you turn the washer straight on by hand and tighten it with the cassette tool. Cassettes aren’t easily overtightened, but if you want you can use a torque wrench for this.
User tips
• Pay attention to the direction of travel when mounting your tyres.• For Shimano 9/10-speed, do not forget to mount the spacer first before installing the cassette.
• Make sure the rim tape is stuck well in the rim.
• On both the front and rear wheel, there is a small adjustment screw on the left-hand side to adjust the side play.

Nice wheelset for the middle amateur range.
Very good workmanship - each wheel comes with a quality control note. Super design, especially the red details fit very well & give the LRS a dynamic impression. What bothers me about the LRS is the very quiet freewheel. With my old Fulcrum Racing 5 (2012) I only had to pedal backwards twice & the thing was louder than any bell! With the new ones you don't hear anything at all - in the flat without ambient noise you can hear a very very quiet and discreet click. Too bad, if you are a Freehub sound lover, you won't be happy with this LRS! If you're looking for a quiet and well-made wheel, you've come to the right place! It was also a pity that 2 days after my order I found the product on a site for 20€ less.

Delivered solidly packaged. is what I had asked for. My previous ones were also Fulcrum R 5 wheels. Due to the winter, I haven't been able to test it out yet, so I can't answer that yet.

The Fulcrum Racing 5 C17 wheels are one of the most popular wheelsets on the market. The Racing 5 owes this to its durability and reliability.
