The Ergon SR Sport Gel saddle cushions shocks from bumps and potholes in the road surface to let you ride comfortably and without taking hard impacts on your rear end. In the average woman, the symphysis of the pubic bone (the front cartilage that connects the two halves of the pelvis) is placed a quarter lower than in a male pelvis, and the angle of the pubic bones towards each other is wider. Moreover, as women are generally more mobile than men, their pelvis rotates further forward when they are in the saddle. This can cause high pressure in the genital area. Ergon has created a saddle shape that provides optimal support here. It has been rigourously tested by the Canyon / SRAM UCI women's team, one of the best women's cycling teams in the world.
