The Ergon SM Sport Gel Lady saddle was developed specifically for female mountain bikers. The development process involved women almost exclusively, and involved a long-term study of the anatomical characteristics of the female pelvis. The results were used to arrive at a new saddle design. CNC machined prototypes were tested by the female members of the Ergon Factory Rider Team, who provided valuable feedback for optimising the model. So today, Ergon's SM Women saddles ensure optimal pressure relief in the genital area as well as high freedom of movement, even on technically challenging terrain.
