The Qubo Digital Smart B+ is a low budget interactive trainer! The Elite Qubo Digital Smart B+ is the successor of the popular Qubo Digital. Because your connect the trainer to a tablet or smartphone, the handlebar computer is redundant and therefore omitted. This lowers the price, making it even better value for money.

The Qubo Digital B+ can be connected via both Bluetooth Smart and ANT+ to the My E-training app. The app regulates the resistance automatically, simulating climbs. This allows you to ride famous climbs such as the Alpe d'Huez. Via the MyRealVideo app you can ride numerous video tours.

However, you are no longer limited to the Elite software itself. The trainer is in fact equipped with the new ANT+ FE-C protocol. This makes it possible to link the trainers to 3rd party apps such as; Zwift, Bkool, Kinomap or VirtualTrainer. The possibilities for specific training sessions are endless.

The stable frame is suitable for wheels from 20 up to 29 inch. The Fast Locking system allows you to secure your bike to the trainer quickly and safely. The tread is made out of an Elastogel. This ensures the trainer produces less sound and your tyre to wear out less quickly. With the Crono system the tyre is pressed on the roller by your own weight. The pressure doesn't have to be set by a button and is always right. The Elastogel roller ensures a lower tyre wear and reduces noise.

My E-Training App:
This App for your tablet or phone contains basic workouts based on power, time, or heart rate (depending on used accessories). Additionally, you can perform various tests and you can ride tours in Google Maps. The app is connected through Bluetooth smart trainers and ANT+ trainers from Elite. To use the ANT+ trainers with your app you need to purchase an Elite or Wahoo ANT+ Dongle.

Great turbo trainer

- John 29 May 2016

Top turbo trainer. Love the elite trainers had one before thought it was great but this one is even better especially with the Bluetooth connection allowing the use of different devises and software. Would recommend to anyone wanting a trainer to help fill in the gaps when you can't get out and have fun with it too. We'll pleaded and great service from Mantel too :-)

Pros & Cons

Everything
Flexibility
Great connection options
Quick and easy to setup and use
Smooth trainer
None!!!

Good but of kit

- Stephen 16 March 2016

This is a great piece of kit. Easy to set up. Links well with Zwift and is making indoor training bearable. Compact and neat. Making it easy to store.

Excellent training kit at great price

- James 9 March 2016

Got this for indoor training after trying Zwift using rollers initially. This is a great bit of kit, links with Zwift to give a great experience in virtual cycling. The resistance is automatically adjusted by the software to vary with the terrain. The power value does lag a bit as you accelerate, but I think this may be the Zwift SW as when you pair it with a smartphone, it appears to be more responsive. It loses points rating due to not being able to get the Elite SW to link with the device and contacted their support page with no response - apparently this is the norm for Elite. Overall very satisfied with the hardware so far.

Pros & Cons

Cost
Ease of use
Value for money
cannot get elite SW to work
Poor customer support from Elite

Great value for money smart trainer

- James 18 January 2016

Takes five minutes to set up and then automatically connected to Zwift. I've been using it every day since I bought it and I would highly recommend this at the price point. I wanted a direct drive trainer (no rear wheel) but this one works better than expected and at 1/4 of the price I'm really pleased with the purchase.

Pros & Cons

Good value
Sturdy
Works as expected

DCRainmaker's recommended smart turbo trainer at smart price!

- Ryan 18 January 2016

Turbo works well, pairs easily with your phone (I'm using an iPhone5) which allows you to tracks data / set resistance etc. Shipped with a travel adaptor as power unit has EU fitting but everything supplied works. Early days review so 8/10 as haven't truly figured out all it can do yet. Prompt delivery and packed well.

Pros & Cons

Easy to set up and reasonably quiet
Relatively compact for storage
Smart Ant+ & bluetooth
EU plug - but shipped with adaptor
