The CeramicSpeed OSPW RS ALPHA for Shimano 9250/8150 derailleur cage has given the OverSized Pulley Wheel system for road bikes a major update. With a sleek and modern design, it goes perfectly with the most recently released bikes. It also includes more options to customise the system, allowing cyclists to apply their own style.
A key innovation is the ADR system, which keeps dirt out of the bearings so that everything continues to run smoothly. Also, the ALPHA Disc jockey wheels have been added, which are stronger and less likely to get clogged with mud. This design has been tested by professional cyclocross riders in rough conditions.
Not only has the cage's appearance been improved, its body has also been reinforced. In short, the CeramicSpeed OSPW RS ALPHA rear derailleur cage is an advanced system that is both functional and beautiful, designed for the demanding cyclist. In the box you will find a complete OSPW RS ALPHA unit, ready for installation on Shimano Ultegra and Dura Ace R8150 and R9250 systems.
More efficient power transfer
In this derailleur cage, CeramicSpeed applies several technologies that reduce drivetrain resistance to give you more efficient power transfer, allowing you to ride faster while pedaling less powerfully. Thus, you can save up to 14 watts and beat the competition!

Active Debris Remover (ADR)
ADR is a technical feature based on a unique combination that makes it virtually impossible for dirt to get into the bearing. It involves a newly designed dust cover that sits securely inside the jockey wheel, completely enclosing the bearing. This is combined with a bladed structure around the dust cover, which dynamically removes dirt from the pulley wheel as it rotates. ADR is the result of a process of collaboration between CeramicSpeed's R&D department, their test lab and a select group of professional off-road teams who tested it in the field.
ALPHA Disc pulley wheels
For the OSPW RS derailleur cage, CeramicSpeed offers versions with and without the ultra durable ALPHA Disc derailleur wheel, first introduced in the OSPW X for Eagle Transmission. The ALPHA Disc has a two-piece construction. The first is a separate narrow-wide tooth profile made of a composite material that provides long-term wear protection and noise reduction. The second is a solid aluminium disc that prevents mud or gravel from getting stuck and provides extra rigidity and structural strength.
