Castelli Polare 3 Bib Tights

The Castelli Polare 3 are the perfect long cycling shorts for men who don't want to stop cycling through the coldest days of winter. They are the warmest cycling shorts Castelli has to offer, with wind protection along the entire length of the front. The seat of these pants and the back of the lower legs are masde from a fabric which offers protection against splashing water. Naturally, these long cycling shorts also feature the well-known Castelli fit.

The Polare 3 is the most comfortable wind bib tight Castelli has made so far.

GORE-TEX INFINIUM WINDSTOPPER X-Fast front
Castelli have equipped the front of the Polare 3 with the very warm GORE-TEX INFINIUM WINDSTOPPER X-Fast fabric. This material covers the entire front of these long cycling shorts. Cold wind is thus optimally kept out and actually has no chance of penetrating. Your legs stay nice and warm during frosty winter rides.

Nano Flex G3 on the seat and back of lower legs
The rear and back of the lower legs, of the Castelli Polare 3, are equipped with Nano Flex G3 fabric. These parts of the body are therefore well protected against splashing water from wet road surfaces. Keep in mind that these are still not suitable for very rainy conditions.

Thermoflex on the back of the thighs
Thermoflex fabric has been used for the back of the thighs. Not only does this material contribute to the wonderful warmth, but it also provides the Castelli Polare 3 with extra stretchability, which gives them a good fit.

Mesh braces, reflectve details and ankle zips
The Castelli Polare 3 has mesh braces, which do not retain moisture. In addition, these braces are kept minimal. This allows you to cover your upper body however you want, without an unwanted layer over your stomach. Reflective stripes are placed on the front and back of the legs. These increase your visibility in low light conditions. The ankle zippers make these long cycling shorts easy to put on and take off.

KISS Air2 chamois
The Castelli Polare 3 has been given the KISS Air2 chamois. This is a high-performance chamois for all conditions. The construction consists of only 1 piece and due to the variable chamois thickness you have exactly the right amount of cushioning, in the right place. The padding of the KISS Air2 chamois offers excellent support and the feel of the fabric on the skin is nice and soft.
