Castelli Emergency 2 Rain Jacket

The Castelli Emergency 2 rain jacket for men is perfect for rainy emergencies or everyday use. This cycling jacket is fully waterproof, folds easily into a compact size and can be tucked away in a back pocket of your normal cycling jersey.

As you may expect from Castelli, the Emergency 2 offers a good fit for cycling and all the features of a high-quality rain jacket, including a waterproof zip, extended back, 360° reflectivity, long sleeves and wrist gaiters that fit over your gloves. Breathability is the only feature that is not as good as that of Castelli's more expensive rain jackets. Still, all in all, the Castelli Emergency 2 is your best buddy when you get caught in a rain shower.

Deluge Light 2.5-layer waterproof fabric
The Castelli Emergency 2 jacket is made with Deluge Light 2.5-layer waterproof fabric, a material that provides excellent protection against rain with a 10,000 mm waterproofing rating. It also provides good protection against cold winds. Breathability is not as good as in Castelli's more expensive rain jackets but there is a mesh ventilation opening at the upper back.

Good fit and neutral look
This rain jacket for men has a small amount of stretch for an excellent fit in the cycling position. The appearance of the Emergency 2 is discreet rather than pronounced, which makes it suitable for your commute as well.

Waterproof zip and 360° reflectivity
This rain jacket has a waterproof zip, which runs along the full length of the front and makes putting the jacket on and taking it off easy. Of course, it also prevents water coming in through the zip. Thanks to the 360° reflectivity, the Castelli Emergency 2 increases your visibility in low light conditions.
