This cycling jacket features a double fabric layer to offer you the best possible performance. The outer layer is made of a windproof material so that you are well protected against the cold winds of winter. In similar jackets with such an outer windproof layer, you often see a decrease in breathability. And so Castelli has added a second layer! This inner layer has a snug fit around your body to provide good insulation and keep your body comfortably warm. The wind is blocked from the outside, but the jacket can be zipped open so that any excess heat can escape via the outer layer. This is ideal for a long climb or a high-intensity interval training, for example. Simply unzip the windproof layer to increase ventilation temporarily, while the inner insulation layer retains its snug fit around your body.
