Of all Brooks' saddles, the Classic series sells the best. These saddles are perfect for the modern cyclist, and feature a single rail to be compatible with most seat posts. The B17 is the most popular model in the Brooks Classic series. It is the oldest Brooks saddle and the longest living saddle in the history of cycling. The B17 saddle has been on the market since 1896 and has never been taken out of production. Many Classic models are also available in the Aged and Imperial versions.
Aged: comfortable from day one
The most typical feature of the saddles in the Aged series is their smooth leather top. These saddles are described as being extremely comfortable from day one. The Aged series is made for cyclists who want to ride on a leather saddle without spending time on breaking in one from the traditional series. The smoothness of the vegetable tanned leather in the Aged series is guaranteed by a particular mix of oils as well as special leather washing and massaging methods prior to manufacturing.

This is the best and most comfortable saddle I have had.
After about 100 km, the saddle fits like a glove. Before, I had a suspension seatpost and a gel saddle. This saddle is much more comfortable and the saddle's suspension is much better than in the old situation.

For me, this is a top saddle. Never anything else!
After a long search due to saddle pain, I ended up with this brooks saddle. I ordered it on Sunday evening and it arrived on Monday afternoon. Just as well, because our cycling holiday started the next day. The first few days I had to get used to the hardness of the saddle. It was as if the leather had to get used to me as well, because after breaking in the saddle, it was completely mine. No pain or sore or sweaty feeling. Cycled wonderfully. About 70 km a day. With luggage and without electric assistance!
