What is ANT+

ANT+ is a wireless protocol with which data can be synchronised on other devices. This is similar to Bluetooth Smart which is often integrated in smartphones. This way of transferring data is most often used in sensors, such as heart rate monitors, speed sensors, cadence sensors, powermeters, anc cycling trainers. The information from these sensors is transferred to a cycling computer with an ANT+ antenna or a USB ANT+ dongle in a computer.
