Description
This bike bell is specially made for e-bikes. When riding at higher speeds, you need to alert other road users to your presence well in advance, when a regular bell may not be loud enough. Thanks to the large diameter of the aluminium shell and the improved spring in the clapper, the E Sound bell can produce up to 88 dB of sound. As the clapper cannot move sideways, you can always produce a clearly audible sound. The weather also has less effect on the bell's performance.
The clamp is suitable for the slightly thicker handlebars of electric bikes. So, this bike bell is a perfect addition to yours!

Unreliable and soft
I had bought this bell on its 'extra loud' touting. It was grossly disappointing. The similar bell it replaces was much louder. And in many situations where before I had no problem at all, I am now not heard or much too late. What is even worse about this bell is that you cannot trust it. If you don't release the hammer exactly the right way, you won't hear more than a dull thud. It probably worked well under controlled conditions in BBB's laboratory but in practice it is worthless. A bike bell. How hard can it be?
