The Maxxis Rekon Dual EXO TR Skinwall is an aggressive, fast mountain bike tyre with a classic look. The rubber tread has been optimised for technical cross-country and trail riding and consists of wide studs for good braking performance. In addition, the L-shaped knobs on the tyre sidewalls provide additional support when cornering. With a rubber compound consisting of two different hardnesses, this tyre offers optimal speed, grip and durability.

When one tyre features different types of rubber compounds, tyres that look the same can have very different properties. When one part of the tyre consists of a different compound than the rest of the tyre, it is possible to fine-tune how the tyre performs in different conditions. This Maxxis Rekon tyre has a Dual compound to reduce rolling resistance on the tread and increase cornering grip due to a different rubber compound in the high studs on the tyre's sidewalls.
EXO Protection
EXO Protection is a wear-resistant protective layer in the tyre's sidewall. It offers excellent protection against cuts into the sidewall. The densely woven material is lightweight and highly flexible to ensure that the tyre's performance remains unaffected.
Tubeless Ready
