Pros & Cons

Pros & Cons

  • The Zaffiro Pro G2 is made for distance and, as such, is a very good training tyre.
  • The renewed Graphene 2.0 (G2) compound ensures that the Zaffiro Pro has a good balance of durability, rolling resistance and grip.
  • As the carcass consists of extra thick nylon threads, the tyre's puncture protection is excellent.
  • The focus of the Zaffiro Pro G2 is on durability, which makes its rolling resistance relatively high.
  • Better puncture protection comes the expense of low weight, as is the case with the Zaffiro Pro G2.

Great value for money but doesn't last too long (1500km)

- Lázár 6 December 2024

I have purchased these tires multiple times. They are one of the best value for money I have found. I use them for my commuter bike so I have ridden these tires in the wet, mud, snow, everything. They have held up nicely and provide surprisingly good grip. Moreover, they are pretty picture resistant. I have gotten 2 puctures in the past 1 year. Nevertheless, they don't last too long. I found myself needing to replace them after 1.5 years (about 1500km) due to the sidewalls cracking. Still, one of the best value for money.

Pros & Cons
