I had already bought back rollers in 2000, they are still in very good condition but do not fit on my new bike. The Ortliebs are almost legendary, quasi indestructible and the top product for its applications

Went on a cycling holiday in beautiful Holland for the first time. How much we needed the panniers: lots of rain and strong winds on the way. We were thoroughly wet but the entire contents of the bags were dry!

We have been using ortlieb bags for years, but they do wear out a bit. So we bought new ones. Exactly the same ones we already had, but a nice colour. Mantel had stock and the handlebars, bars sent them immediately

I've been struggling for years with a pannier with hooks that constantly fell off my bike and was actually too small too (due to a weird filling opening). These panniers hang super strong: the snap connection and the slider at the bottom ensure that the bag doesn't go anywhere while cycling. Also, your paint is safe as the bag rests on a rubber. To my surprise, the bag itself has two inner compartments, one with a zip and one without. Very handy! Hanging the shoulder strap away is a habit that has to wear in, but very good that this has been thought through. Material is very sturdy and I love the colour. When carrying larger items, such as a houseplant, it is possible to leave the bag upright instead of closing it: handy! Like many, I am still waiting for a heavy downpour, so I cannot comment on the waterproofness yet.

We have been Ortlieb bags fans for a long time and they are valuable companions in everyday family life. We get a week's shopping in two bags (family of 4) and they enable us to do a lot of our shopping by bike. The bags look great, are waterproof and, as mentioned above, super spacious. They are also our faithful companions on cycle tours lasting several days and so far they have not let us down. We have also tried other brands, but are much happier with the Ortlieb panniers. With the super-practical holder, we can even attach them to the holder/"reiling" of our long tail, although this is considerably thicker than a normal pannier rack. Conclusion: For us, the Ortlieb bags are simply part of our daily mobility and allow us to leave the car at home in many cases.

Space waterproof bags conveniently fitted with good instructions for use. Easily removable. Conveniently portable due to shoulder strap. Disadvantage is that it is susceptible to theft. There is a security cable available for that but whether that is so convenient. It doesn't look that way. I'm still looking at a better solution for this myself but haven't found one yet.

I found the ortlieb bags to be simply great. They're strong and functional, with several ways of closing and carrying them.

The mounting is super good. The custom settings are great and easy to adjust. The bags are sufficient for weeks of bikepacking

The colour is even prettier in real life than the picture. Even though I have only been using them for a month now, you can already feel the quality when you unwrap them. Look very very good and waterproof and are very easy to assemble. Super bags for going to work, shopping and on holiday.

the panniers fit very well on, in our case, a city bike, they are also very secure and do not move while cycling, easy and quick to detach and carry on your shoulder; suitable for going shopping as for cycling holidays!

I'm a little bit happier about my new bags every day. I thought long and hard about which model to choose and after much deliberation I decided in favour of this one. The product is superbly made and very robust. I am sure that the bags will serve me well for a long time. That's probably the good thing about buying ortlieb panniers: you know that they will be with you for a long time. I am super satisfied :)

Super convenient hooking system, my bag has never been knocked off the carrier. The hooks are also strong. Only the new construction of the hooks is not as good, they kept rattling until I put ti-raps between them. The material is stiffer than my old Back-Roller bags, so it rolls up more difficult.

The product met my expectations perfectly and delivery was fast. It's just a shame that a removable lock can't easily be added to the panniers, like the one on the Vaude panniers.

This bag is simply the best pannier bag currently on sale. The bag is the right size for a lot of shopping and to take into the shop. This size is also very practical for trekking. You can easily put a third bag on the carrier without blocking these bags. My preference is for the tarpaulin of the 'Classic' models and not the Cordura fabric of the 'Plus' models. In rain, the tarpaulin dries quickly and dirt is easily wiped off. In summary, this is the best pannier currently on sale and Mantel also sells it for the lowest price. For many people, this will still be an expensive pannier, but when you consider that it might last ten years or more, it is still an excellent choice compared to cheaper bags that you have to replace within three years!

At have greatly enjoyed the Ortlieb panniers. Now we have purchased the black Back Roller. Very nice with the middle closure. Also the now present side/compartment, inside the bag, is nice. About 10 years ago we bought the white model from Ortleib. These are still in fine condition but do not match our new bikes as much.

My old Ortliebs broke down after 8 years, the seams were coming loose. This can no longer be glued / vulcanised so just bought a new set. Hope these will last longer.
