Are these panniers also available as a single pannier?
The Ortlieb Back Roller Classic is only available as a double pannier. We do have a range of comparable single panniers, such as the Ortlieb Back Roller Free. This bicycle bag is based on the Back Roller Classic, but with one important difference: the Back Roller Free is produced without PVC, without losing any quality.

Is the total volume of the panniers 40 L, or is it 40 L per pannier?
These bags together have a volume of 40 L. The volume is therefore 20 L per bag.
