Functional, solid, beautiful, easy to install... and remove. What more could you ask for? Maybe a few inside or outside pockets? And even then, they're not really essential for the purpose.

Nice solid panniers. Super easy to get on and off the bike. Only comment is that the separately purchased anti-theft device is not very easy to mount

Perfect waterproof panniers. Flexible mounting points make them fit any bike. And easy to detach to take to store or during bike trips. Rolling up and clipping on is very easy. Had ordered the wrong version at first, but well solved by Mantel.

Taken on sale after being notified of their return to stock via the appropriate service. Very satisfied with the product. I use them to go to work every day, very practical and roomy. Once detached they are easy to carry with the shoulder strap and also beautiful (I got them in black color). Received (free shipping) on time. I recommend them, money well spent!

Very good saddlebags, in fact, they are the second ones I have. The first were a city and I broke one for not carrying it well hooked, my fault. I recommend it for cyclotourism!

Having used Ortlieb Front Roller Plus Panniers [Cordura construction, 25 litres combined volume] in ever day use for 7 years I 'upgraded' to the Back Roller Classic for winter use [PVC construction, 40 litres combined volume]. Excellent quality & adaptability from Ortlieb.

After years of using an Ortlieb pannier I wanted one with a carrying strap. The old one was still fine so I assume this one will also last for years without any problems.

The purchased panniers meet my expectations. I have already used them for many errands and ridden in the pouring rain. The panniers are large and practical in terms of capacity, allowing you to carry lots of groceries. Even in the pouring rain, the inside of the bag stays dry. It is slightly more difficult to place the panniers on the bike rack.

On my previous bike I had a cheap set of panniers that worked with straps and Velcro, those might be good for the occasional cyclist but for the rest.... The Ortlieb bags, what a relief say. First of all, they are very easy to attach and with the included inserts they also fit nice and tight on any rack. Nothing is more hateful than rattling panniers. They are slightly more expensive than others but well worth it, from what I hear from others they are also indestructible. Because they are available in different colors, there is bound to be a color that suits everyone. They don't look too big on the bike but you can fit a lot of weight in them if you want. Another big advantage, the cheaper sets with straps are fixed to the bike, the Ortlieb's can be taken off the bike with one simple movement, handy for groceries or clothes. I am very satisfied with them and regret not having bought them sooner.

The bags sit securely around my bike. With the clips you narrow easily so it is not loose. When the bottom bracket is right, it really sits like a house. Unfortunately, I cannot use this bracket properly on one side. Since there is a pump there. I still have to come up with something for this. But even without that bracket, it sits well.

I bought these as I knew they were good, my two cycling buddies have them. One has had hers for 20 years! I’m delighted with how easy they to set up and how easily they attach to my bike. There is plenty of room in them and I look forward to my next tour to the outer Hebrides with them. An added bonus is the colour matched the trim on t bike!

When I bought my e-bike, I bought two bags that were recommended by the bike vendor (own brand). That product did not pass the development stage properly. It does not fit properly to the carrier which caused the bag to detach from the carrier. Ortlieb's bag comes with separate brackets in different sizes that allow the bag to be attached 100% properly to the carrier. A top-notch product!

I have only used the panniers on one trip so far which involves multiple train changes and 2 base sites. Brilliant easy on/off rack with shoulder strap allowing ease of carry on/off trains which can be stressful if only stopping to embark/disembark. Plenty of room for my (too much) clothes and needs for the week. The sun shone so not tested the waterproof mess as yet.

I can’t think of any negative aspects. I knew what I was getting and the brand does a very good job describing the products. I got exactly what I expected. I use the bags for weekend trips away. Camping for the time being. It fits everything I need: tent, sleeping bag, sleeping Matt, clothes, food, stove, electronics etc etc. it would be great if future designs included a locking system for the bag and bike so we can leave the bag unattended (when going shopping on supermarket, for example).

I already knew the Ortlieb brand through their "city" panniers. This model is much more practical, with a strap for better portability, an easy-to-use closure system and an interior pocket for carrying documents. Lightweight, I can't wait to try them out on a bike tour.
