It fits our heads perfectly, stays in place straight away and is easy to forget. I'm also really pleased with the straps, which fit effortlessly.

The light weight of the helmet makes it feel like nothing is on your head. The tightening knob allows precise adjustment, making it the ideal helmet for all outings.

I have already done several rides with this helmet and I like it a lot. I was exactly between an M and an L in terms of head circumference and initially opted for the large size. With this helmet, I had to adjust it to the smallest possible setting and the helmet looked huge when I had it on. I then also ordered an M and sent the L back. In terms of size, the M is quite smaller than the L and I don't even have the adjustment on the largest setting, so there is still room for a hat in winter.

I have had the helmet for several weeks now and I am very satisfied with it. Nice sleek design helmet. I bought the colour black. The helmet adjustment on top is super nice and ideal to adjust while cycling as well. The chin strap is also fine for me. The helmet is comfortable and I hardly feel it. Weight is also fine. With mips chosen for the best safety. In terms of small price difference, I definitely wouldn't leave out mips either.

Aesthetically beautiful, light and aerodynamic helmet! The fastening system is easy and very comfortable to adjust.

Excellent helmet, very well ventilated and super comfortable. Only downside is that the aeroshell is not in the package (I would gladly pay a little extra for it). I could not justify the price difference for the Genesis, and I am very happy with my purchase.

I doubt that the plastic of the mips system negatively affects ventilation and thus makes it a bit more sultry. But haven't had a sweaty head yet with this new helmet.

Meanwhile ordered my 2nd Lazer Z1. Had the previous one on for decoration for about 15,000 km. And a fraction of sec the helmet did its job well. Hard with the side of my head on the tiles. Mips feature always thought of will do. Ambu nurse , after medical check looked at the helmet. Without helmet the situation would have been very different. The Lazer Z1 itself is just a fine helmet, extra set of paddings nicely packed in a waterproof pouch you can use for your mobile.

Very nice and comfortable helmet, excellent treatment by Mantel regarding speed of delivery and accuracy in packing the product thank you.

Ventilated and breathable helmet, with MIPS system, which I think is now a necessity. Practical, easy-to-use knob on top for optimised helmet tightening.

Three weeks after wearing this helmet, I fell with my bike. I hit the road with the right side of the head, but I didn't suffer anything. I am really glad I chose the helmet with MIPS. Otherwise a fine helmet and weight and ventilation. Fits well on my head and despite taking the large size, it doesn't look like a huge helmet.

Helmet looks very nice and fast. Fit is perfect, and is conveniently adjustable. Thanks to the vents, the helmet ventilates very well. And MVDP wore this helmet in the AGR!

Lightweight and with the added protection of MIPS. Looks great on. Ordered the large size, which normally works well for me, but came up a bit large. Adjustment system is first class adjusts to grip your whole head not just the back.

Awesome service from Mantel. This helmet is the best I’ve ever used. The anti tangle straps and their ease of adjustment are very handy. The fit is spot on and the adjust is sooooo much better than the usual dial at the back, it really gives you a comfortable and secure fit. Hopefully I’ll never have to rely on the MIPS but it’s good to know it’s there. Easy to stash sunglasses in the vents and little cutaway at the front means it’s easy to flip the peak of your casquette up when required.

Very light, cool, beautiful and great fit. The possibility to add the rear light, heart frequency monitor and protection/aero cap is a plus. Doesn’t give my head the “mushroom look” like some others do. If it is good enough for Mathieu Van der Poel, team Jumbo Visma and so many pros, it sure is good enough for me!

Fantastic helmet! It's extremely light weight, so much so I hardly notice I'm wearing it. Airflow is really good at both high and low speeds, so no overheating problems. The retention system is easy to use and the added MIPS is a handy bonus.....plus it comes with a cool helmet bag to store it in when not in use. Much better than my old Giro helmet.
