In-Mold construction and MIPS for optimal protection
The fact that the Lazer Z1 is very lightweight, does not mean it is less safe. To ensure your safety, it features a combination of the MIPS system and the Inside In-Mold System, whereby 4 layers are sprayed together to create one protective layer. The MIPS system consists of a low-friction inner layer between the EPS lining and the padding with elastic attachments. This ensures a bit of play in the event of a fall; the helmet can shift and rotate relative to the head to absorb the lateral and rotational forces involved in a fall better. In helmets without MIPS, by comparison, the blow is only absorbed by the EPS lining that compresses.

31 vents to prevent overheating
The Lazer Z1 MIPS helmet has 31 ventilation openings, so you will have a constant cooling airflow running over your head. Even during bike rides on hot days, the chance of your head overheating is minimal.
