The Ergon GP5 grips are ergonomically shaped grips for mountain bikes or trekking bikes. The Ergon GP5 grips have integrated bar ends, allowing for a variety of comfortable bike positions.
Strong and comfortable
These Ergon GP5 grips with large bar ends distribute pressure across the surface of your hand palms well, due to their large surface area. Their specialised shape forces your wrists into a comfortable, natural position. This makes sure you can cycle for a long time without tingling fingers or sore wrists!
Adjustable to your personal needs
The Ergon GP5 is, aside from the GP1 and GP3, the version with the largest bar-ends from the Ergon range. Hands aren't all of the same size, which is why these grips come in two different diameters. That's because a larger hand will have better, more comfortable contact with a grip with a larger diameter, while the opposite is of course true for smaller hands. This naturally also depends on your personal preference. Plus, you can adjust the bar-end and grip parts of these grips separately using the bolt at the end of the grips. This will give you the best possible support to suit your riding style.
A durable, sturdy design
This Ergon GP5 grip is made using a forged aluminium clamp, making sure it'll feel sturdy and durable. This clamp makes mounting the grips quick, and they clamp on well. To install them, simply slide the Ergon GP5 onto your handlebars and tighten the bolt. Adjusting the supporting platform works in the same way, and can be done by simply loosening the bolt and turning the grip to the correct position for the desired support.
Please note: these grips are not suitable for carbon handlebars!
