Knog Oi Bell

A great bike bell that’s really easy to fit to your handlebars. Just unscrew the screw, wrap it round the handlebars and it’s secure. What I like is that the bike bell doesn’t draw attention to itself, so you can keep your road bike looking sleek. It doesn’t ring extremely loudly, but it’s loud enough to warn people that you’re coming. I already had one on my own road bike, so I ordered a second one to fit on my wife’s road bike. Just make sure to check the diameter of the handlebars, as the bell comes in two sizes.

Attractive design, looks neat and compact on the handlebars, but the spring is poor quality: it stretched out within a week and I couldn’t use it to make calls any more – a waste of money. What a shame!

Be careful with the diameter when ordering – the large version is designed to go in the middle of your handlebars rather than next to your grip. What’s more, after two phone calls, it was already broken because the spring had been bent out of shape. The worst bit of rubbish I’ve ever bought.
