Pros & Cons
Pros & Cons
- The Dynamic Dry Lube ensures that no dirt or dust sticks to your chain, making it much less prone to wear.
- The Dry Lube lubricates exceptionally well, reducing friction to a minimum. Ideal for the competitive cyclist.
- Dynamic is a maintenance partner of the Dutch Jumbo Visma Cycling Team; its products are used for the toughest cycling races by the likes of Wout van Aert and Marianne Vos.
- Dynamic recommends lightly reapplying the Dry Lube every 150 to 200 km for optimal results. If you cycle a lot, this means every ride or every two rides.
- Protects less effectively against corrosion.

The ingredients of this Dry Lube were chosen for their functionality: they have a low friction coefficient, which reduces friction and prevents corrosion. This oil works quickly and effectively in your chain's links.
Simply apply this dry lube drop by drop on every link of your chain. We recommend applying a new layer after 150-200 km, or when you clean your bike.
As the name suggests, dry lube is used in dry conditions. It makes sure that no dirt or dust sticks to your chain. As it is very thin, you'll have to reapply it frequently. Dry lube isn't very water repellent and offers less protection against corrosion. It's excellent for the summer, but it's not suitable for autumn and winter. A wet lube, on the other hand, lubricates much better in wet conditions and is also more water and dirt resistant, which is important in wet weather. It needs to be reapplied much less frequently. A wet lube does gather a bit more dirt than a dry lube.
Can I use wax and oil at the same time?
No, we don't recommend that! Wax and oil work in a different way. Wax dries up, but oil stays liquid. If you want to switch between them, you'll have to degrease your chain first. This is especially important when using wax!

Top quality but very fluid
The supplied bottle of chain oil was half empty

Lubricates and chain does not turn black/sticky
Lubricates the chain sufficiently, but only in dry weather, because it is very fluid. Because it is so fluid, apply it with care, otherwise you risk losing a lot. Virtually no dirt sticks to it. Furthermore, the chain stays nice and clean and does not turn black. Do wipe clean after every ride and apply new ones. But anyway a bike, and thus also a chain and sprockets, needs TLC to enjoy it and extend its life. Furthermore mantle delivers quickly and the price was also the best compared to elsewhere

Excellent lubricant
Dry lube ensures good lubrication and silent cycling fun! After every ride (+/- 150KM) you will need to apply a new layer. The dry lube is relatively thin, so be careful not to spill too much when applying.

Finest for dry weather and chain stays clean
Remains the finest for me in dry conditions on the road bike. Penetrates the chain well and does not attract dirt. Water thin though and therefore difficult to dose, messes easily. A slightly thicker substance and it would really be perfect.

leaky and liquid
Jar was leaky on delivery, besides, the lube is very fluid and therefore difficult to apply.
