Double the weight savings!

- Alwin 21 March 2025

2 birds with one stone! No more bell on the handlebars, bars > -100 grams. Superlight material - 50 grams. Clear difference from the 36T can be felt and heard.

Pros & Cons

Faster engagement torque for more direct power transfer
Great sound, no more bell needed!
Quick and easy to install
Service from Mantel
Pricey for such a small part

Pricey but worth it for performance and sound!

- Maikel 22 June 2024

From 18T to 54T ratchet provides faster engagement torque and a harder ratchet in freewheel. Deployed for my gravel bike with DT Swiss 370 Ratchet LN hub, the latest type (without pallets). On my MTB with 350 hub, I use 36T and it's quite a bit better than 18T. from 36T to 54T is another little bit better. The sound of the ratchet is a matter of taste. 36T sounds nice and low, 54T gives a more buzzing and higher-frequency sound.

Pros & Cons

Easy to mount
Faster engagement torque
Noise ratchet

Feels good to ride and hopefully will last.....

- Dave 19 January 2023

Makes a big difference compared to the standard 16t Very easy to fit

Pros & Cons

Fast take up on hub compared to the 16t version
Lighter than the 16t version (a bit!)
Super quick deliver
Fairly pricey

Better engagement, more noise

- Sander 5 March 2022

Switched from an 18T ratchet to this 54T. The better engagement is definitely noticeable and a lot more pleasant than 18T. The sound is very loud, definitely bold but sometimes a tad irritating.

Pros & Cons

Better engagement
