Thule VeloLite 3 Cykelholder

The lightweight Thule VeloLite 3 towbar car bike rack provides a sturdy solution for the transport of three bikes. It has a compact design, is easy to use, and mounts safely and securely onto the car's towbar.

Materials and construction
The robust frame of the VeloLite 3 bike carrier is made of aluminium and steel. It offers a high load capacity and can easily hold heavy bikes. The sleek plastic finish over the tubes prevents damage to the car’s bodywork. The clever folding mechanism makes the rack very compact; it takes up little space when stored in a cramped garage or shed.

Finish and details
The removable frame holders have soft rubber interiors to prevent scratches on delicate bike frames. The sturdy pump buckles with long quick-release straps hold the bike wheels firmly in place in the slots. The built-in locking system offers a high level of security because the carrier is locked to the car, and the bikes to the carrier. Thus, you can go and grab a quick coffee at a petrol station en route with complete peace of mind. With a relatively low total weight of 17 kg, the carrier unit is absolutely manageable and quite easy to mount onto the car.

Compatibility and mounting
This towbar bike carrier can transport up to three bikes, and the wheel slots can accommodate tyres up to 3 inches wide. As the slots are 19 cm apart, the bikes will not touch each other and are highly unlike to get damaged while on the rack. The carrier uses a 13-pin plug for the lights and optional fog lights. For mounting onto the car's towbar, the VeloLite has an ergonomic handle and a cleverly engineered coupling system - a simple push on the clamp secures the carrier instantly!
