The Thule VeloLite 2 towbar car bike rack offers a compact design for safe transport of two bikes. The combination of a fixed platform and independent mounting arms ensures a stable ride on the road, and thanks to the generous clearance between the arms, the bike frames do not touch each other. When you are not using the carrier, you can fold it into a compact size for easy storage at home or easy transport in your car.

Construction and materials
The sturdy 14 kg platform makes this bike carrier robust and reliable for frequent use. The cleverly engineered coupling with an ergonomic handle makes for stable and secure mounting on the vehicle's towbar. When there is no load on the rack, its low profile allows for direct access to the boot of the car. The sturdy materials guarantee a safe ride, even on unpaved paths or cobbled streets. The integrated lighting with a 13-pin plug provides excellent visibility in traffic.

Smart finish
The individually adjustable mounting arms with swivel heads and flexible straps are compatible with various frame sizes and ensure a secure fit for non-standard tube geometries. The generous 23 cm distance between the wheel slots eliminates the risk of paint damage caused by contact between the bikes. While (un)loading the bikes, you can put the wheel straps in a dedicated slot so they do not get in the way. The hinged folding system reduces the carrier's length to 77 cm for easy transport in the boot of your car, and a built-in lock secures the unit to the vehicle to prevent theft.

Use and compatibility
The Thule VeloLite 2 car bike rack can carry two bikes with any number of gears and any type of drivetrain. The clamping mechanism easily grips round or oval tubes with 20 - 90 mm diameters. The maximum load capacity of 50 kg makes the VeloLite an ideal transport solution for heavy-duty models, and wheels with tyre widths up to 3 inches and a wheelbase of up to 1,250 mm will fit perfectly into the slots. The carrier is to be mounted directly onto the vehicle’s towbar.
