In fact, the GX Eagle AXS shifter features the optimum shifting efficiency of the Eagle AXS line, making electronic shifting available to SRAM's lower segment as well. The Sram XX1 Eagle AXS rear derailleur belongs to Sram's innovative 12 speed electronic mountain bike group. Designed specifically for Cross-Country use, the derailleur is light, smooth shifting and keeps the chain properly tensioned. The Sram XG-1275 GX Eagle 12 speed cassette features the same technologies used in the XX1 and X01 cassettes, but at a much more affordable price. You shift smoothly on this cassette, the stiffness is good and the cassette isn't too heavy either. In addition, you now have the choice between a 10/50 and a 10/52 cassette, allowing you to choose a cassette that best suits your riding style.

A wide range for all applications
The Sram GX Eagle cassette has a whopping 500% range and features the latest technologies. The XG-1275 cassette has gearing from 10 to 50 teeth. This will make you fast on the flat while no also allowing you to conquer tough climbs. The cassette is held together by pins. This FULL PIN™ technology makes this cassette not only light but also very durable. The open X-DOME™ design allows mud and other dirt to drain easily. This benefits both shifting and durability.

Extra stiff and light construction
The construction of this derailleur incorporates a lot of carbon. This makes the derailleur not only very light, but also very stiff. This extra stiffness makes shifting extra quick and smooth. The cassettes on which this derailleur works best are SRAM's own X-Dome cassettes. These cassettes are designed to best support the functionality of the SRAM XX1 Eagle AXS rear derailleur.

AXS Connect technology
The SRAM GX Eagle AXS drivetrain is completely customisable with the SRAM AXS app. For example, you can choose synchronised or traditional shifting. You can also choose the functions of the buttons and connect additional devices to the system, such as a dropper post or a navigation system.

The 12 speed cassette fits the existing XD driver. This means that the distance between the sprockets is reduced and therefore the chain is also narrower. X-Glide 2 is the latest generation of the SRAM X-Glide technology, optimized for the Eagle 12 speed cassette. It delivers fast and precise shifting under load throughout the entire gear range and increases the grip of the chain on the larger sprockets.
