SRAM RED AXS E1 Forskifter

The SRAM RED AXS E1 wireless front derailleur guarantees extremely fast and reliable shifting at the front of the drivetrain. Its refined cage shape and advanced electronic trim functionality prevent the chain from catching in any gear, resulting in a quiet, smooth and flawless road ride in all conditions.

With this RED AXS front derailleur, the refined cage shape takes centre stage. This specific design allows for faster and much more accurate shifting between the front chainrings, immediately converting pedalling energy into pure acceleration. The construction uses SRAM's innovative Road-Yaw technology with a mechanism that allows the derailleur cage to move slightly along with the angle of the chain for an extremely tight and efficient chain run. A solid braze-on mounting type ensures a secure attachment to the frame, allowing the motor to transfer its power to the drivetrain successfully and vibration-free. This strong foundation results in a noticeably more direct and super quiet shifting experience on the asphalt.

Besides the solid hardware, the SRAM RED AXS front derailleur is full of sophisticated electronic finishing details that significantly increase its functionality. The built-in Auto Trim functionality automatically adjusts the position of the cage to the position of the rear derailleur while cycling. This technology eliminates any disturbing chain rubbing, regardless of which gear combination is being used. The system is fully AXS-enabled, allowing for seamless wireless installation, constant monitoring and extensive customisation via the mobile app. To simplify installation, SRAM includes a brilliant tool in the delivery that allows for fast and extremely precise chainring alignment, maximising electronic shifting reliability right from the very first ride.

Compatibility and fit
The RED AXS front derailleur is specifically designed for 12-speed drivetrains in a 2x configuration. For attachment to the bike frame, it uses braze-on mounting. The system works perfectly with SRAM Road FlatTop D1 and E1 chains. The derailleur is optimised for X-Range chainrings and supports the following combinations: 46/33T, 48/35T, 50/37T, 52/39T, 54/41T and 56/43T.
