SRAM Eagle S500 AXS Bagskifter

The SRAM Eagle S500 rear derailleur is part of the new Eagle S500 groupset, the most sophisticated one in the S-series, featuring AXS wireless shifting technology. The S500 series is a lightweight groupset with excellent shifting performance. The S500 series is suitable for use on electric mountain bikes.

The SRAM Eagle S500 AXS derailleur uses an Overload Clutch, which means that, in case of an impact, the derailleur's motor that organises lateral positioning is disengaged, allowing the derailleur to move more freely with the impact and minimising any damage. Afterwards, the derailleur automatically returns to its original position. As the derailleur is water and dust resistant, you can use your mountain bike exactly for what it is made to do without worry and to your heart's content!

The Type 3 clutch improves chain retention and prevents the chain from rattling against the frame or falling off the front chainring. Since the derailleur is compatible with all AXS Ecosystem components, it can also be used with dropbar shifters. Thanks to this AXS connectivity, initial setup and final customisation is very easy.
