The new XTR shifter M9000 is a good example. The left shifter can be converted to a 2 or 3 click with a button, which means you use the same shifter for a double and a triple. A carbon shift button brings its weight even further down. It is also possible to move the shifter vertically and horizontally so you can reach optimal ergonomics.
