The upper of the XC503 MTB shoe consists of a combination of mesh, TPU and synthetic leather. Together, these materials provide a good balance between ventilation, support and durability. Thanks to the wrap-around construction, the upper forms tightly around the foot, reducing pressure and increasing comfort. The integrated construction, with low stack height, increases stability and contributes to efficient power transfer. The shoe is ideal for rides in moderate temperatures from spring to autumn.

The BOA® L6 dial closure allows you to easily adjust the fit, even while riding. The fibreglass-reinforced nylon midsole ensures firm support and direct transfer of power to the pedal. The outsole is made of SHIMANO's ULTREAD XC rubber, which offers long-lasting grip on a variety of surfaces. Swappable spikes allow you to customise the sole to your riding style and the type of terrain, making this shoe suitable for a variety of conditions and surfaces, from muddy courses to dry gravel trails.
