The revolutionary Di2 electronic shifting system with SEIS (Shimano Electronic Intelligent System) takes the current high-level shift performance by Shimano to a whole new level, and one never achieved before. The increased accuracy, fluent operation, and reliability of electronic shifting makes changing gears faster and eliminates missed shifts.

This innovative shifting technology is based on the famous Shimano Index System (SIS). With the Di2 technology the shifting action is passed to the derailleurs using an electronic signal instead of a mechanical cable transmission.
