Rogelli Stryde Cykeltrøje

The Rogelli Stryde long-sleeved cycling jersey is designed for the change of seasons. With a temperature range of 10°C to 20°C, it is ideal for chilly spring mornings, mild autumn days, and rides where it’s just a bit too cold for a short-sleeved jersey. The Eco Dynaflex+ 180 fabric, made from recycled polyester, feels soft, breathes well and stretches with your movements so you don’t experience any fabric pulling while in the cycling position.

With a Race fit, the jersey hugs your body without being too tight, for a sporty look with plenty of comfort. The striped design gives the Stryde a modern look. The silicone grip at the waist keeps the jersey in place – it will not ride up when you are leaning low over the handlebars. Three back pockets with reflective piping provide plenty of storage space as well as extra visibility in low light.

Will you choose the Rogelli Stryde cycling jersey or the Rogelli Stryde winter jacket? The cycling jersey is the lighter, non-insulated option for temperatures between 10°C and 20°C, ideal for the milder transitional seasons. The Rogelli Stryde winter jacket is designed for the temperature range below that, from 0°C to 10°C; it is made of Dynashield 5000 fabric with a fleece lining and offers better protection against the cold and wind. For rides in low temperatures, go for the winter jacket; on milder days, the cycling jersey will be the more comfortable choice.

Eco Dynaflex+ 180 fabric

This fabric is made from 90% recycled polyester and 10% elastane, and weighs 180 g/m². This fabric weight explains the temperature range of 10°C to 20°C; it is light enough not to feel too warm at 20°C, yet thick enough to block the wind at 10°C. The 10% elastane provides stretch, allowing the fabric to move comfortably with you in a deep cycling position. The recycled polyester reduces the jersey's carbon footprint compared to virgin polyester.

AQUABLOC coating

This coating is CO₂- and PFAS-free and offers basic protection against road spray. In light rain or on wet roads, the coating repels the first few splashes; in persistent rain, moisture will eventually penetrate. For extra protection, pair the jersey with a windbreaker or rain jacket.

Reflective piping and silicone grip

The reflective piping is positioned on the back pockets, exactly where car headlights hit you from behind. The silicone grip in the elasticated waistband keeps the jersey in place so that your lower back is always fully covered while cycling.

Ideal for:

• Temperatures between 10°C and 20°C – crisp mornings, mild autumn days and spring rides;
• Riders looking for a jersey with a snug Race fit and a sporty striped design;
• Riders looking for a jersey with three back pockets for their essentials without the bulk of a winter jacket.

Not suitable for:

• Temperatures below 10°C without extra layers – for rides in colder conditions, pair the jersey with arm warmers and a wind vest, or opt for a winter jacket.
• Strong winds – in such conditions, wear wind vest over the jersey; the Eco Dynaflex+ 180 fabric offers some wind protection but is not windproof.
• Riders looking for a looser fit – they should choose a jersey with a Comfort fit; the Stryde has a close-fitting Race fit.

Not sure about the size? Here’s how to check:

Measure your chest circumference at the widest point and your waist circumference at the narrowest point. Select your size in the order box based on these measurements. The Race fit is close-fitting; if you want to wear a thin base layer underneath, choose the larger size to allow for enough room.

How to keep your Stryde cycling jersey in good condition

1. Wash on a cold cycle and inside out: Select a cold cycle and place the jersey inside out in the washing machine to protect the AQUABLOC coating and the reflective piping.
2. Use a mild detergent: Do not use a bio-detergent or fabric conditioner. Fabric conditioner will damage the water-repellent coating and the fabric’s breathability.
3. Do not bleach or dry-clean: Both will damage the coating and the recycled polyester.
4. Line-dry: Do not tumble dry because heat damages the coating and the elastane.

• Hang the jersey up to air immediately after your ride, or wash it straight away. Sweat that remains trapped in the fibres will, over time, impair the fabric’s breathability and cause odours to develop.
• Are you cycling at the lower end of the temperature range, around 10°C? Pair the jersey with arm warmers and a thin base layer. This will extend the jersey’s temperature range by a few degrees without having to put on a heavy winter jacket.
• Carry a windproof gilet in the middle back pocket. Between 10°C and 20°C, the temperature can vary significantly between ascents and descents; if you wear a gilet over the jersey, you will stay comfortable throughout that entire range.
