Polar Ignite 2

The Polar Ignite 2 is a sports watch with built-in GPS that is sleek, slim and smart. As you may expect from Polar watches, this one is also packed with extra sports functions. On your wrist the watch does its job 24/7: it measures your heart rate and other data with its smart sensors. The watch uses this information to give you daily personal advice for your workouts, recovery and sleep. Of course the Polar Ignite 2 also has several smart functions: you can read your new phone messages directly on your watch and you can easily control your music player. However, to play the music you still need your smartphone, because the watch unfortunately does not have its own storage. The Ignite 2 is easy to customise with a choice of dials. The watch strap is also easy to change. In short, with the Polar Ignite 2 you get a beautifully designed sports watch with smart functionalities!

Getting even smarter and better
The Polar Ignite 2 has lots of sports features to help you get even more out of your workout. With FitSpark™, you'll get a daily suggestion of ready-made workouts that match your recovery, fitness and training history. The Energy Sources feature gives you a clear overview of the energy used during a workout, so that you can replenish it in an optimal way. The Ignite 2 has over 130 different sport profiles, so you can set which data you want to see per sport. The watch is suitable for swimming and automatically records your heart rate, swimming style, distance, pace, number of strokes and rest times. For runners, there is the Running Program in which the watch makes a personal and customisable training programme for you; very useful when you want to train for a specific race or distance. Besides being a sports watch, the Ignite 2 is also a modern smartwatch. You can receive smartphone notifications, control your music, adjust the watch faces and check the weather, among other things. Controlling the music is easy, but note that the watch itself has no storage for music sources, which means that you do need your smartphone nearby. Via Bluetooth, you can connect the watch with your smartphone or external sensors such as a heart rate belt. ANT+ is unfortunately missing on this watch, so not all (bicycle) sensors are compatible. The Ignite 2 has a battery life of 20 hours during a workout with continuous GPS and heart rate measurement, and about five days during watch use with continuous heart rate measurement.

Polar Ignite 2 uses Polar Precision Prime™ sensor fusion technology to track your heart rate on the wrist. This innovation combines optical heart rate measurement with other sensor technologies, preventing deviations due to movements that could disrupt the heart rate signal and lead to inaccurate measurements.
