In addition, Coolbest pads are added where your head touches the helmet to minimise overheating during your intensive bike rides. Thanks to POC's unique ventilation design, the POC Octal MIPS racing helmet is also amply equipped with ventilation holes.

EPS inner lining and helmet construction
The construction of the POC Octal MIPS racing helmet consists of an EPS inner lining. The EPS liner is strategically increased in density in the most exposed areas, further improving safety. Furthermore, the helmet construction is made of a single shell, optimising the entire helmet construction in terms of safety without compromising on weight. The helmet construction has been developed in such a way that you can also easily and securely attach your cycling glasses to the racing helmet.

MIPS crash protection
The POC Octal MIPS racing helmet features the high-quality MIPS crash protection system. This MIPS system consists of an intermediate layer with elastic attachments. This allows the helmet to move and rotate slightly in relation to the head in the event of a fall and absorbs the forces of a fall much better.
