The Maxxis Aspen EXO Tubeless Ready mountain bike tyre is lightweight and has minimal rolling resistance to get you across hilly cross-country courses as quickly as possible. The combination of the Aspen's particular tread and the use of MaxxSpeed rubber makes this tyre very fast.
MaxxSpeed rubber
The rubber compound of this MaxxSpeed tyre has been optimised to keep rolling resistance low and increase durability and traction. As a result, this compound is ideal for pure speed and acceleration out of corners. The MaxxSpeed compound is 25% faster than its predecessor, 3C MaxxSpeed.
EXO Protection
EXO Protection refers to an abrasion-resistant protective layer in the sidewalls of the tyre. This layer provides excellent protection against sidewall cuts. Its densely woven material keeps the tyre lightweight and extremely flexible so that its performance is not affected.
Tubeless Ready
The Maxxis Aspen MaxxSpeed tyre is tubeless ready, which means you can choose to use it without an inner tube. A tubeless setup has various advantages, the main ones being lower rolling resistance and more grip, control and comfort.
