The Mini Driva XL uses a Li-Ion battery that can be changed if it's empty. You can use the on/off switch to check the current status of your battery pack. This has a built-in LED that changes colour when your battery is running low. With the Mini Drive XL a handlebar clamp is standard supplied of 25.4 mm and 31.8 mm plus a number of washers.
