DT Swiss E 1800 SPLINE 30 DB disc wheels are durable and comfortable. They are versatile and suitable for road training, commuting and gravel rides. The wheelset is built around a reliable DT Swiss 370 hub with an easy-to-maintain ratchet body system, and the spokes feature Pro Lock nipples for better spoke retention and less loss of spoke tension.
Get ready for long, adventurous rides with the DT Swiss E1800 wheelset. The wide rim offers more comfort so you can cover more miles with less effort. Every pedal stroke is a hit thanks to the reliable and direct ratchet body system. This wheelset is designed to give you the perfect mix of reliability, comfort and fun. The DT Swiss E800 SPLINE has no problem with hilly terrain thanks to its lightweight aluminium rims.
These wheels feature a tubeless ready rim that allows you to ride with tubeless outer tyres and latex. With this set-up, you'll minimise punctures. Should you still get a puncture, the latex will fill the hole within seconds. Other benefits of tubeless riding include lower rolling resistance, more comfort and better grip. Of course, it is still possible to fit your old-fashioned folding tyres with inner tubes.
Pro Lock Technology
Pro Lock is a process in which a patented 2-component adhesive fluid is injected into the nipple thread, enabling extremely durable wheel constructions. By turning the nipple on the spoke, the glue is activated and begins to harden. The wheel can still be adjusted after the glue has fully cured, with only a minimal decrease in locking function. As a result, your wheels maintain much better spoke tension for longer. This extends durability and proper spoke tension up to 20 times compared to wheels without Pro Lock nipples.
