PureGrip is derived from an activated silca compound and is a good example of how customer feedback is continuously integrated into research and development into new Continental tyres. This technology fits perfectly alongside the BlackChili Compound. The name PureGrip does exactly what it says; exceptionally good grip and durability are the distinguishing features of this compound. PureGrip is introduced in Performance tyres within the road, gravel and mountain bike disciplines.

ShieldWall System.
Offers an optimal combination of high puncture protection and low rolling resistance combined with low weight. This is made possible by an additional, all-round puncture protection layer, which consists of a finely woven material. This gives the tyre high resistance to punctures and external damage. Despite the extra layer, the tyre has very good cushioning properties and a high degree of flexibility to adapt perfectly to the surface.
