Breathability and a perfect snug fit
The Castelli Espresso SOG (Spirit of Gravel) shirt is made of innovative Air_O Stretch material. This fabric is optimised for both breathability and aerodynamics, keeping you cool and comfortable even if temperatures rise. The jersey sits snugly on your body without pinching, and minimises drag while maximising freedom of movement. Ideal for temperatures between 15 and 35 degrees Celsius.

Practical and smart finishing
Convenience has also been given due consideration; the three back pockets offer plenty of space for nutrition and/or a windbreaker, and a fourth pocket with a zip keeps your valuables safe. While the raw-cut sleeve ends provide extra comfort without chafing seams, the elasticated waistband with silicone keeps the jersey neatly in place, even when you are in your most aggressive riding position. A reflective detail on the back has been added for extra visibility. The full-length YKK Vislon zip with a user-friendly puller makes it easy to open or close the zip as you continue to cycle.

Design - Kristine
With her jersey design, 29-year-old Danish Kristine Frida wanted to tell two stories. Her very first "jersey" was actually not a cycling jersey but a pale pink ballet outfit she wore when she was six years old. She incorporated this colour, "baby pink", in her Castelli design as a reminder of the magic she felt when wearing her ballet costume at that young age. Today, she feels the same way about cycling - she just has to ride her bike! Secondly, the jersey reflects her love of nature, which grew as she spent years living on farms across Europe. There, she discovered the importance of trees for healthy soil, water storage, oxygen and life in general. And so her jersey features a tree that symbolises the power of nature and her deep connection to it.
