Fordele og ulemper
- With a tailored fit, the vest sits snugly on your body and provides a stable feel while cycling.
- The elastic waistband prevents the vest moving up and ensures a consistent fit during movement.
- With three back pockets, this vest offers more storage options than most vests in this segment, which is practical on the go.
- The focus is on wind protection, so rain protection is limited but this does keep the vest lightweight and breathable.
- The temperature range targets mild conditions, so you may need extra layers in lower temperatures, which gives you flexibility in your choice of clothing.

The Castelli Espresso 2 Vest combines effective wind protection with a light and compact design that is easy to carry on every ride. The stretchy front panel protects against cold airflow while maintaining comfort. The snug fit and breathable back panel allow for a stable feel and pleasant ventilation in changing conditions.
Materials and fit
The front panel consists of a stretch woven fabric that blocks most of the wind while letting enough air through to keep your body dry. The back and side panels are made of Air O Stretch fabric for ventilation and comfort. With a tailored fit, the vest sits snugly on your torso without restricting freedom of movement. The vest is suitable for outdoor temperatures between 12°C and 20°C, and offers a good balance between wind protection and breathability during exercise.
Finishes and details
The Castelli Espresso 2 Vest has three back pockets that provide extra storage space for small essentials. The front zip opens from the top as well as the bottom to help with temperature regulation and access to jersey pockets underneath. An elastic waistband keeps the vest securely in place while biking. A reflective tab at the back increases your visibility in low-light conditions. The vest folds up into a compact size for easy storage in a back pocket when not needed. The total weight is 121 grams.

Meget god, men dyr windstopper.
- N. 2 april 2026
