I am a real Campagnolo fan, until now I always rode with the original Campa chains in combination with Chorus cassettes. And yes, the way that Campa chain should be mounted is technically the nicest solution. But the KMC solution, with the "missing link" is many times simpler and really just as good. Now I have to experience the durability of this chain....

The missing link went on awkwardly. Cause incompetence I think. Keep practicing. Chain is perfect, cycling is a lot easier. Color matches other gold accents on the bike.

I have had this chain before and I can’t really fault it other than the fact it did not last very long. I bought a new one and it twisted and came off my chainring and was essentially useless thereafter. Therefore, it’s a pretty weak chain. That being said, if I didn’t have this issue I would buy it again. Maybe it was a manufacturing issue / once off etc.

I have always used this chain on various mtb's. It lasts longer than a shimano chain. Just clean and dry and a few drops of squirt over it and your chain will last a long time.

After 4000 km I had renewed my drivetrain. Front and rear new sprockets. And I still had a new KMC X11 lying around. Too expensive to throw away. After a week I replaced it with a SRAM PC1130. The KMC is a stiff chain that can only lie straight. When the chain is at an angle (as it often is with a derailleur) you can feel every link creaking.

For my race and gravel bike always use the regular 10 and 11 speed kmc chains. This time opted for EL. Noiseless and shifts fine.

I have been using mostly KMC chains for some years. Overall, they provide better value than the equivalent chains sold under drive chain manufacturers names. They have never let me down whether used for touring, club rides or general day to day cycling. The EL chain is the one I always come back to as it provides a good balance between weight, longevity and quality.

Feels like an upgrade every new one I fit, super smooth transmission and last well.

My go to chain with a strong quick link, the 12 speed makes it quite tight to fit compared to 10 speed but a little pressure on the cranks gets it to span in nicely. Long lasting no fuss chain which can be fitted in either direction .
