The Schwalbe Rick XC Pro EVO Speed TLR is for real mountain bike speed demons. This tyre has a clear focus on grip and speed, making it extremely suitable for cross-country use.
This tyre has a new, reinforced transition between the middle and shoulder parts of the tyre, lowering the chances of an impact puncture. Plus, this tyre is tubeless ready, so you can convert it to tubeless in the blink of an eye.
No need for combinations
On a mountain bike, the ideal front tyre isn't necessarily the ideal rear tyre. For example, riders of the highest level often chose a Racing Ralph as a front tyre, and a Thunder Burt as a rear tyre. This is a thing of the past with the launch of the Racing Rick XC Pro, because it combines the best parts of the Racing Ralph and Thunder Burt. You'll no longer have to combine tyres, but can choose one tyre for both your front and rear wheel.

The Addix Speed rubber compound can be recognised by the red stripe across the tyre. This compound for cross-country competition cyclists has an extremely low rolling resistance, with which you'll fly over the trails. Plus, Addix Speed is very robust and durable for a compound with such a low rolling resistance.

At Schwalbe they're strongly convinced that tubeless riding is the tyre technology of the future. That's why Schwalbe has ensured all mountain bike tyres marked TLE or TLR are optimised for riding without a tube. The construction of the carcass also makes the mounting process easier.
