The Continental Grand Prix 5000 road bike tyre set is intended for cyclists looking for the best performance! With low rolling resistance, relatively low weight and increased comfort, the Grand Prix 5000 is our fastest tyre. With this set you also get two lightweight and comfortable inner tubes.

The latest technologies
The Continental Grand Prix 5000 bike tyres feature the latest technologies. An updated version of Continental's Black Chili Compound ensures a perfect balance between rolling resistance and traction. With Lazer Grip technology, the shoulders on the tread of the tyre have been roughened for optimal traction through the corners. The 330 TPI carcass with Active Comfort technology makes the tyre flexible and comfortable.

Inner tubes
The Continental Race inner tube is a true all-rounder within the range of inner tubes. With Continental inner tubes, you are assured of high quality and reliability. Before leaving the factory, each inner tube is individually checked for airtightness.

All-in-one set
This tyre set consists of two tyres and two inner tubes so you can order everything to replace your tyres in one go. We offer several options for you to put together your set as it suits you best, with your preferred tyre width and valve length.

Black Chili Compound
Continental's designers went back to the drawing board to make the Grand Prix 4000 SII's Black Chili Compound even more perfect. And they succeeded! Several test results show that the Continental GP5000 tyre scores higher on rolling resistance, durability and wear resistance.

Lazer Grip technology
Continental has processed the edges of the Grand Prix 5000 with a laser. The laser tread engages optimally with the road surface for increased traction when cornering. At high speeds and in wet conditions you will feel the difference!

Active Comfort technology
A shock-absorbing layer is fitted under the skin. This Active Comfort layer dampens vibrations and shocks from the road surface, increasing comfort to allow you to stay in your aerodynamic position for longer - it's an unrivalled cycling experience.

Vectran Breaker layer
The Vectran Breaker layer is an anti-puncture protective layer under the tread. This strip prevents sharp pebbles, twigs and glass shards from penetrating the tyre and reaching the inner tube. With this anti-puncture strip, you will enjoy increased puncture protection.
