Wahoo Kickr Core 2

Definitely worth buying
The pedalling feel is very close to the real thing. The zwift cog is a really positive feature, eliminating the need to use the bike's transmission. The Wi-Fi connection to the bike applications is very fast and reliable.

Pros & Cons

A fine product, more than sufficient for quality training sessions
The home trainer is very effective and easy to set up. It doesn't take up too much space. The swift cog makes it easy to fit any bike. The stability of the connection is perfect. The resistance during training is precise.

Top price/quality ratio!
The Kickr Core is a fantastic product. Very well packaged, set up in 15 minutes, pairs super easily with virtual apps, and so on. Also surprisingly quiet, even when you're sprinting. As an absolute beginner, Mantel's site was invaluable. Mantel's many reviews, advice and blogs turned a big conundrum into a conscious and focused choice in no time. Thanks to the support department for responding quickly and expertly to my queries!

A super shop, all round - I'll be shopping here again.
I've never been a fan of roller training before, but with the Wahoo Kickr Core that has changed - the soporific monotony of the free roller no longer exists with this roller trainer.

Recommended.
Prompt delivery, connections with e.g. Zwift, Garmin, Trainer.......problem-free. Very quiet. You only hear the rattling of the chain. Top price performance.

Nice entry-level virtual bike, but connectivity leaves much to be desired
Set up in no time. There is a Wahoo app for it, but it works very poorly. Connecting to wifi is impossible, even though that is a selling point. App won't connect to wifi at first, then says it's connected. Zwift sees the wifi, but disconnects immediately/registers no data. So then old-fashioned with bluetooth. Zwift cog included and adapters for quick release and thru-axles, but no tools to remove the cog. Cog works nicely, by the way. It is definitely not realistic shifting, but it does what it is supposed to do. Furthermore, the kickr core works properly, gives a nice resistance and therefore you can use apps like Zwift to get through the winter nicely. For what it is (legs with a flywheel and a belt), I find it expensive. The whole thing is not adjustable, so your bike is not level. You then have to fix this yourself. Also, you soon have to use (paid) third-party software to get the most out of it. For that matter, the connection LEDs give little information and the app does not help to display the status either. In short, it is a fine device that does what it is supposed to do, but I find the ease of use and price-quality ratio far from satisfactory.
