Schwalbe Marathon GreenGuard

Placed many tires but these are so stiff, not doable even with fluid.

After less than three days of use, I had a puncture on a city road. The cyclist who did the repair could not find the element that caused the puncture since it was so small. I have other Shwalbe tires, not up to the mark.

Chose these tires because they have a much coarser tread than my previous Schwalbe tires. Those were tires that had virtually no tread as standard, but that seemed less favorable in bad weather, in snow and on sandy surfaces such as forest trails etc. Hence I chose these Schwalbe Marathon GreenGuard tires, but I don't like them at all. The tires do not seem to fit nicely in the rims and there is still a noticeable bump in them. I put the tires on again and lightly greased the rim flanges and the tires with Vaseline beforehand, so they can set more easily, but this did not help.

Mantel does what it promises. Delivery was made a day later.

Good experience with this before. I picked up the band at the store and left the large protective box there. Mantel, please consider using less cardboard.

The rear tire delivered did not turn out as expected after installation. There was a bulge in the tread. Roos from the Mantel company fixed it perfectly. With the received credit I could order a new tire.

For years I have had Schwalbe tires for my bikes. Good price quality. Advice is to also fit new tubes when replacing them.

Very difficult to get on them (but it worked out). They roll light but feel heavier in corners. Replaced my Marathon Racers for these after 6 years. No regrets, especially considering the price.

This tire does what it is supposed to do for a reasonable price. A little stiffer than my old tire so tire levers are really needed to fit it over the rim.

Fine tires and certainly not too expensive. They mount easily. Good grip especially on dirt roads.

I replaced all my worn tyres with these Greenguard tyres. These are well protected against punctures and are easy to fit

Fine tire, offering good grip, both on dry and wet. I use this tire both on regular bikes (37-622) and on my cross-hybrid (32-622). I find the steering behavior very pleasant, but can imagine that others experience it as "nervous".

At www.bicyclerollingresistance.com, this tire comes out of the test as one of the tires with the highest puncture resistance (score of 120) with also relatively low rolling resistance. You should have this tire for your city bike, electric bike or commuter where puncture resistance is paramount without losing much speed. Also very smooth to mount! Goes on smoothly.

A very fine tire for road touring and the occasional forest trail. Puncture resistance and durability seem to be fine, based on a few years of use. In my experience, even rolling resistance is not too bad with those properties (I keep my 37-622 marathons at 4-4.5 bar).

We fitted our two Koga F3s with these Marathon tires. Fitting was simple and in 1x lay all right, so no "sways or bumps". Tires ride excellent, and give more confidence in terms of wet grip than the semi-slicks that were originally on the F3s.

Just before cycling vacation, I purchased a second Schwalbe Marathon GreenGuard outer tire. I had previously replaced my worn out rear tire with this same tire and I am very satisfied. This vacation I rode down the mountain with full packs at 60 km/h and everything works perfectly and feels safe.

Have these tires on three trekking bikes. The advantage is that you can inflate them hard for when you ride on slippery roads. But also with less air it is a fine stable tire. In short, an excellent tire not only for electric bikes.
